MEET THE TEAM
James Baldwin - President
James started SelectDecks in 2012, initially focusing on general construction services until he realized the need for a specialized outdoor living design & build firm with service and professionalism at the heart. Since then, James has overseen and built more than 200 projects, each one different from the next. He believes that being a leader in the industry - not just locally, but nationally - is key to providing the level of services our clients have come to expect, and was one of the first people in the country to obtain the Master Deck Professional designation from the International Code Council.
James is also a contributor to Deck Builder Magazine, and his many connections in the US and Canada allow SelectDecks to constantly be on top of new trends, designs, ideas, and codes. Under James’ leadership, SelectDecks has been the recipient of several national awards at the annual North American Deck and Railing Trade Show.
James is a Morgantown local and loves spending time with his wife and three sons!
Shannon Fisher - Marketing & Client Coordinator
Shannon brings her background in marketing and client services experience to the team, managing client communications, day to day and behind the scenes strategies. Before moving back to Pittsburgh and joining the SelectDecks team, she attended Ohio University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Marketing and her Master's in Business Administration. When she's off the clock, you can find Shannon spending time outside, hitting the slopes, traveling or hiking with her dog!
